Dordogne holiday gîtes: "La Vigne"
La Vigne features full under floor heating on the ground floor and thermostatically controlled radiators in the upstairs rooms (sharing the central heating installation of the main house); it is therefore suitable for early or late season bookings.
Ground floor.
A large living room allows ample space for the dining area; an open hearth chimney with a Jotul wood burning stove is the focal point of the sitting room side where comfortable armchairs and settee invite you to relax . Large double glazed bay windows make for a very light and agreeable atmosphere. A colour television with DVD player and hifi set are also installed.
Next to the dining room a fully equipped modern kitchen is installed with four burner gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, washing-up machine, and refrigerator in the back kitchen (which also serves as an additional storage room).
To the rear of the living room is the main bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower, wash basin and toilet facilities.
First floor.
Upstairs two large and well lit bedrooms can sleep two and three respectively with single beds throughout (double beds on request). A bathroom and independent toilet are also situated on the upstairs floor landing; opposite a wall to wall fitted cupboard offers ample space for clothing, suitcases etc.
A full length 30 m² terrace in front of the cottage offers ample space for eating or relaxing in the sunshine; two huge ash trees provide ample shade on the lawn area in front for those who prefer a cooler ambience.
