Le Clos des Pélissous was, until quite recently, a fully operational farm, producing tobacco, Pecharmant red wine (Le Clos des Pélissous was the name used for the latter), and cereals. Sheep and cattle were also raised on the property.

The three cottages which comprise the property have been entirely renovated to offer standards of comfort compatible with today’s requirements, whilst the charm of the stone walls, sharply inclined tiled roofs and oak beam ceilings have retained a very Périgourdine atmosphere. Two of the cottages have been converted into three gîtes and a studio and can sleep up to 23 people in comfort; the third cottage is the home of the owners who live on site all year and who are available to assist with any problems.

The pretty pigeon loft in the centre of the garden now houses the swimming pool machinery. The three houses all face in a southward looking direction with the 12m x 6 m salt water heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi function as the focal point. Individual gardens or terraces for each cottage or apartment allow occupants to relax or dine in privacy but are sufficiently large to allow several families occupying different accommodation to join together when desired. A large terrace by the pool is also ideal for sunbathing. For the more energetic a "pétanque" pitch overlooking the pool area is available for a game of "boules". A large field next to cottages is also part of the property and can be used by children for playing.

A independent laundry with washing machine and drying facilities is available for all the visitors at no extra charge.

Situated in the “longère”, next to La Treille, "Le Sarment" is an independent bedroom for two people with en suite shower and toilet facilities. It is available for letting as a supplementary bedroom with one of the other gîtes as required.

The 12 m x 6 m salt water heated swimming pool has a jacuzzi feature in the steps, for relaxing after a day's visiting.
The limits of the pool area are protected by appropriate fences, walls or gates, to prevent unsupervised access  by small children.
An immersion alarm is also installed.
